Refund policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases made from LDO MOTION at https://store.ldomotion.com and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1) Returns window

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

RMA required: All returns require prior authorization via an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Please do not ship items back without a valid RMA. Upon approval of your request, we will provide detailed return instructions and the designated return address.

2) Return Eligibility and Condition

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled

  • In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and included parts

  • Free from any damage, markings, missing parts, or signs of assembly/installation

DIY kits: Kits are eligible for return only if they are unassembled and unused, with all original components present and complete.

3) Non-Returnable Items (Unless Defective/DOA)

Unless the item is defective/DOA (Dead on Arrival) or as required by applicable law, the following items are generally not returnable:

  • Open or used consumables (e.g., filament, adhesives, tapes, lubricants)

  • Items showing signs of installation, assembly, or use

  • Clearance or final-sale items (if marked as such)

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or made-to-order items (as stated on the product page)

4) Shipping Damage, Missing Parts, Wrong Items, or DOA

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If any item arrives damaged, is missing parts, is incorrect, or is DOA (Dead on Arrival), you must contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please provide the following information:

  • Order number

  • Photos/video clearly showing the issue

  • Photos of the packaging and shipping label

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer replacement parts, a replacement product or a refund.

5) Return Shipping Costs

  • Change-of-Mind Returns: You are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Our Error / Confirmed Defect / DOA: We will cover return shipping costs or provide an alternative remedy (e.g., replacement/parts shipment) at our discretion.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return. We cannot be held responsible for returns lost during transit.

6) Fees and Deductions 

For change-of-mind returns, we may deduct the following:

  • Up to 3.5% payment processing fee (non-refundable fees charged by payment providers), and/or

  • Any shipping costs paid by us that are non-recoverable (if applicable)

We do not deduct fees for returns due to our error or confirmed defect/DOA where permitted by law.

Customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, and brokerage fees are generally non-refundable, as they are charged by your government/carrier.

7) Refund Timing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. The timing depends on your payment providers but typically occurs within 5-10 business days after approval.

8) Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, please place a new order and request a return (if eligible) for the original item.

9)  Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. If the order has not yet been fulfilled or shipped, we may be able to cancel it. Once shipped, orders generally cannot be canceled and must follow the return process (if eligible).

10)  Limited Warranty Guidance 

Many products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use:

  • Typically 12 months for electronics and mechanical components (unless otherwise stated on the product page)

  • Shorter warranty periods may apply to certain parts, consumables and wear items

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper assembly, modification, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

11) How to Request an RMA

To request an RMA, email support@ldomotion.com with the subject “RMA Request” and include the following:

  • Order number

  • Items and quantities 

  • Reason for return

  • Relevant photos/video if applicable

Once your RMA is approved, we will reply with the next steps and the designated return address.
