LDO Positron V3.2 PCB Heat Bed

Accessories: PCB Heat Bed Kit

It combines stable bed heating with a magnetic, quick-swap build surface—so maintenance is fast and printing stays consistent.

Highlights

  • Made for Positron V3.2: clear fitment and a straightforward swap—less guesswork, fewer reworks.
  • Magnetic spring steel flex plate: pop prints off by flexing the sheet; double‑sided PEI (textured / smooth) for different finishes.
  • Easy upkeep: when the surface is worn or contaminated, clean or replace the flex plate to get back to reliable first layers.

Choose your option:
• Complete Kit — PCB Heat Bed + PEI flex plate
• PEI Flex Plate Only — flex plate only (no heatbed, no wiring)

  • Compatible printer: LDO / Positron V3.2.
  • · Power: 24V DC (make sure your PSU and firmware limits match the bed power settings).

SPECIFICATIONS
Size 200 × 200 × 3 mm
Input Voltage 24V DC
Rated Power 145 W
Max Bed Temp (Reference) Up to 110°C
Compatible Printer Positron V3.2
Mainboard Port (Reference) THB & BED (XT30 2+2)

Before you start

  • Power off the printer and let the bed cool completely.
  • After swapping the bed or surface, re-check Z offset and first layer.

Recommended install flow

1. Power off → remove the existing build surface / bed component.

2. Mount the new component to the bed assembly (align to Positron V3.2 structure and fasten securely).

3. Connect the bed wiring and confirm the mainboard port “THB & BED (XT30 2+2)” is fully seated.

4. First power‑on: run a low‑temp test (e.g., 50–60°C) to confirm stable heating and temperature reading.

5. Print a quick first‑layer test and fine‑tune Z offset if needed.

Use & care

  • Clean PEI regularly—skin oils will reduce adhesion.
  • Remove prints by flexing the spring steel sheet to avoid surface damage.
  • If you need higher bed temps, confirm firmware limits, PSU capability, and safety settings first.

Contents depend on the option selected at checkout:

A — Complete Kit (Heat Bed + PEI)

  • PCB Heat Bed ×1
  • Double‑sided PEI spring steel flex plate ×1 (textured / smooth)

B — PEI Flex Plate Only (no heatbed)

  • Double‑sided PEI spring steel flex plate ×1 (textured / smooth)

Not included in PEI‑only option: PCB heatbed, bed wiring, magnetic base (if applicable), mounting hardware (unless otherwise stated).

Q: Why didn’t I receive a heatbed?

A: If you selected “PEI Flex Plate Only”, it includes only the PEI spring steel flex plate for surface replacement—no PCB heatbed and no wiring.

Q: How hot can the bed get?

A: Reference spec is up to 110°C. Real‑world performance depends on ambient conditions, power delivery, and firmware temperature limits.

Q: Can I use it on other 200×200 printers?

A: Not recommended. This part is designed around the Positron V3.2 bed structure and wiring/connector path. Cross‑platform fitment is not guaranteed.

Q: Textured vs. smooth—what’s the difference?

A: Textured PEI hides minor marks and gives a matte bottom finish; smooth PEI delivers a cleaner, glossier bottom surface. Choose based on the look you want.

Q: Does the PEI‑only option work without a magnetic base?

A: No. The flex plate needs a magnetic base/magnet sheet. If you don’t have one, choose the Complete Kit or purchase the matching magnetic base separately.
